This procedure will give you push email from your ****@klm.com account.

It works on iPhone, 3G & 3GS also for Jailbroken iPhone’s running software 2.0 and above.

It will use the “PUSH” function on your iPhone or through a wifi connection




Setting Up Push Email on iPhone for KLM

1) Send an email to request.mobilemail@klm.com request push access for your email account, send it from your KLM email address

2) Soon you will get an email back confirming you have access

Now to setup your iPhone.


Go to Settings, Mail and add new account

Complete your details as shown in the windows,
Domain = splzc001
your username is klc(personnel number) or department\klm(personnel number)

It will then inform you that it cannot obtain automatic details from the server however just press next





It will then ask what you want to syncronize with the server.
If you select mail then mail will be synced with your iPhone
If you select contacts
BEWARE all of you contacts on your iPhone will be replaced by those on the KLM server
If you select calendars then your KLM calendar will by synced with your iPhone

Before you can sync with the exchange server it you will need to setup a passcode for the iPhone if you do not already have one, it will ask you to enter a 4 digit Pin number, this is required for exchange server security.



Update to iPhone 3.0 Software.
You can now change the security setting for password input. The change allows up to 1 hour of iPhone use with inputting a pass code each time you access the iPhone

You can select how much mail you want to sync by changing the setting in the mail preferences section
